Pathology is the medical specialty concerned with the study of the nature and causes of diseases.
WiSE Pathology runs diagnostic testing and monitoring of chronic diseases through advanced genetic technologies. Our pathology satellite lab on-site is crucial in assisting with treatment and medical decisions for our patients.
WiSE pathology services are operated by Austech laboratories. It is accredited with RCPA and NATA, meaning we are accurate and reliable as we meet the management and technical systems requirement and have adequate equipment to perform tests or calibrations.
At WiSE we offer and accept the following services:

- A-D Dimer test (blood clotting problems)

Pathology Results
Samples and studies sent to our accredited lab will take 2-5 business days to come back.
If you were seen by one of our emergency doctors visit your Patient Portal to find your results, some urgent results will be given on the day
If you had a Pathology request from an external doctor, results will be sent directly to your doctor between 1-5 business days.
